Cross Country Skiing
Ischgl is not only the ideal holiday paradise for Alpine skiers of all standards. Thanks to the high altitude of its cross country skiing tracks (1.377 - 2.036 m) perfect conditions are offered to cross country skiers from December through to the end of the season.
Incidently: Did you know that the Austrian State Cross Country Skiing Instructors have their training courses in December and April in the SilvrettaArena? This is also proof for the quality of our cross country skiing tracks…
Cross country skiing track maps are available from the Tourist Office!

For decades the Silvretta with its very attractive name and breathtaking scenery, has enjoyed great valuation and importance.
What is so special about the Silvretta?
The snow covered but crevice free glacier enables a long ski touring season from February until May. Together with comfortable mountain huts and high alpine scenery the Paznaun presents a backdrop of unforgettable and untouched beauty – the Silvretta with 74 three thousanders.
