With 41 lifts and cable cars and the 238 kilometres of perfectly prepared pistes, Ischgl is considered to be a true Mecca for skiers and snowboarders. The Ski-Arena joins Ischgl with the Swiss duty-free area of Samnaun.
The main ski area in Ischgl is located between 2,000m and 2,872m above sea level and therefore provides you with guaranteed snow from the end of November through to the beginning of May on its north-facing ski slopes.

At the chairlift Idjoch you will find a special ski-slope just for carving skiers. The highlight of the Silvretta-Arena is the Idalp at 2,311m above sea level, where you will find two restaurants, a ski-school as well as a kindergarten.

Skiing in Ischgl: no long queues
If you are skiing in Ischgl you will not have the hassle of waiting at the lift facilities for very long. Two efficient mono-cable cable cars and the Silvretta funicular (Funitelsystem) lead directly from the centre of Ischgl to the Ski-Arena. The total capacity amounts to 83,000 people per hour and therefore allows quick transportation without the long queues.
